Training is only as good as the documentation of it.
Let the computer take over what’s probably not the favorite part of your aviation career. All activity and training details are automatically tracked and documented. Exams are stored into records. Training certificates are issued. Supervisors are notified by e-mail of any potential problem areas.
With a few mouse clicks you can generate a wealth of useful information, like exactly when each user was logged in, how many attempts to get a review question correct, how many seconds spent on each page, exam marks, etc.

Reports

There are over 30 separate point-and-click reports and additional ones can easily be custom-made for you.
There’s more information on student progress, course status, etc. in various readouts and graphic displays throughout the system – each in its own appropriate place.
Certificates
Custom-branded Certificates are created when a Student:
-
- Successfully completes a course or an entire curriculum
- Achieves minimum pass mark in a quiz or exam
The Certificate is sent via e-mail to the Student and their Supervisor (or whoever you designate them to go to) and can be generated, web or print resolutions, from records later.
Although we all enjoy the idea of being paperless, most clients simply log in occasionally to print off any new Course Certificates, and pop them into the employee’s files.

Access to Information
Each type of information is available specifically to the user role(s) or types of users that it applies to. Further, the information is dynamically role-based. So, for example, the instructor of the CFIT course can view the marks of students in that course, but not for students in the forklift course he does not teach.
Here’s a handy tool: Do you have key clients that want to audit the training of your employees working on their account? You can give them a special login to view those specific records.
Reminders
Every user must login with a correct username and password. Everything in the system is password protected.
Network & Firewall Safe
ASCENT does not download any software or applets to any users computer. It is completely firewall safe.
For those with higher than normal security requirements, SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protection is available.
On numerous occasions we have had client’s I.T. departments perform security and technology impact assessments on ASCENT. We’ve always passed with no issues ever raised.

Training Audits
Just give your auditor (ie: FAA POI) their own login (and you can control who they can audit) which they can use from wherever they want.
Every quiz and exam completed can be viewed and printed. Any certificate ever issued can be instantly displayed. Even the number of seconds a person spent on a particular page two years ago vs. the average number of seconds employees spent on that page is all there.
You might even start to enjoy training audits!
