About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned aviation professional to become our Aviation Business Development Executive—someone who understands the landscape of Canadian aviation and is ready to help more operators modernize their training with ASCENT.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a strong aviation background—perhaps a former Chief Pilot, Operations Manager, QA Manager, or Training Manager—who is ready to transition into a rewarding business development role.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, research, and qualify new business opportunities across Canada.
  • Conduct powerful and professional sales presentations using our excellent sales deck and support materials.
  • Build relationships with aviation decision-makers and guide them through the sales process.
  • Regularly follow up with prospects via email, phone, and meetings.
  • Finalize contracts and coordinate with our team to ensure a smooth customer onboarding experience.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term client relationships.
  • Seek out and attend aviation industry events—conferences, trade shows, etc.—to network and represent Aerostudies.
  • Organize and lead group information sessions with multiple businesses and stakeholders.
  • Maintain up-to-date customer and prospect information in our CRM system.
  • Collaborate with our team and contribute to ongoing sales strategy and initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Proven background in Canadian aviation with excellent understanding of CARs requirements for 702, 703, 704, and 705 operations.
  • Strong personal network in the aviation industry is a major asset.
  • Comfortable with prospecting, cold outreach, and independently driving the sales process.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented.
  • Experience in business development or sales is a strong plus, but not required if you bring the right aviation knowledge and drive.
